My first miniature, but what a wonderful experience, made even more special given the background to the picture – read on.
The reference photo was given to me by my late mom. The man is my grandfather who passed away when my mother was one month pregnant with me. The young baby he is holding on the saddle of the bicycle is my sister; we share the same birth date 6 years apart. She tragically died in a car accident a couple of days before her 19th birthday.
What excites me though, is that living on within my very DNA is something of the legacy of these two family members. Read the “Legacy” blog post if you love stories
